FX Impact m3 reg rebuild help

Hello. So I'm trying to rebuild my impact m3 reg and replace plastic piston with the brass piston. I remove the reg screw out. Then I go to remove the reg housing and damn this thing won't budge. I am turning it counter clockwise. I own a mk2 so I know how to replace the reg b4. But this reg on the m3 is like glue or locktite. Do fx use locktite on the reg? I am forcing it to the point it seem like it is stripping the hex hole. Since its very shallow. Anyone have problems removing the reg on their m3? What tips to remove the reg housing if it's stuck?

I really can't imagine FX putting them in that tight or with loctite. It could get inside the reg and foul up the machinery. Did you buy it new? Or is it possible a previous owner did this?

I would use a new Allen wrench and a short cheater and try to get it to break free. CCW is correct. As a last resort I'd heat it just a tad and work on it.

The reg only needs to be fully seated very lightly tightened. Like bottle valves, it ain't going nowhere under pressure.

I was using 5.0mm Allen key and it was on tight. I tried forcing it to the point it kinda round off the hex hole. I was like this isn't working, if i tried anymore it will strip it and im fk. So went to the store and bought a new set of Allen key. This one is brand new so i make sure it's seated in the hole and then turn it slowly and it finally broke free. I check the threads, no locktite. It was just on really tight. I bought it used but in good condition. So not sure if previous owner jam it stuck or was like that from factory. Anyhow how I can change the plastic piston into the brass piston.
