FX Impact M4 - Standard or Sniper?

Welcome to the world of FX. Where your money is taken and quality control is for sissies… jokes aside, you’ll have a great gun once you fixed all the BS FX knew about but didn’t bother addressing and worked out the quirks their (non-existent( QC dept missed. If you don’t want to tinker you’re SOL though (and not wanting to tinker with a 2.2k gun would be totally understandable).
Thanks and yes Im willing to tinker once I get a functioning gun. I want to learn all I can about this gun. I have done some gunsmithing and have pretty good mechanical skills and am always wanting to know how things work!

I bought m4 impact compact.
First off. Amazing air rifle.
Needs a lot of adding
Add in’s for me to be comfortable but that’s me.

Upon arrival I found the air rifle, cocking didn’t catch correctly and also wanting to jam right out of the box factory tune, and also it was touching a little bit to where it was kind of hard to cock. What I found was the barrel was not in the right position, it wasn’t even screwed down. I actually just lined the barrel up correctly and it slot making sure it was the correct way for pellets and tightened it ever since then it’s shot like butter. I mean it’s absolutely so smooth and amazing but yeah, the quality control was not great. I found several loose screws bolts

But with anything I kinda go over it all. Make sure it’s OK and everything is tight the way I like it , but it’s amazing. I highly recommend it. I do recommend the 600 mm barrel for the bottle size does not matter much but the 600 mm barrel on the compact tank is just an amazing hunting gun. I have 22 and 25 caliber.

Not too rare, I’ve heard of one owner in Australia that got 2 rifles is a row that had the same issue. He’s currently shooting the second one while they fix the first one. Luckily mine isn’t experiencing it.
