I had a very strange thing happen to my fairly new Impact Mk2. The last time I shot the gun it was shooting the JSB 25.39 grn. pellet at around 905fps. The gun rode around in its case in the trunk of my car for a few days. I got the gun out to shoot and the first few shots were in the mid 700fps. Upon inspecting the gun I noticed that I could see my hammer spring thru the slot. Not having any idea what caused this, and having a hammer spring screw back off on my original Impact, I backed the adjustment screw out quite a bit then tightened the screw back in. The gun went right back to shooting the way it should. A few adjustments and it was back to 900 again. My question is how did that spring back that far out just riding in its case, or is some other problem trying to show itself? Very strange. Any thoughts or comments will be appreciated as always.
