Tuning Impact MKII velocity/tuning question

I have a .25cal Impact MKII with a Huma V2 port and pellet probe. I'm currently tuning it for the 25gr Kings and have approx 200fps between MIN and MAX. I was wondering if this is the normal FPS spread for the Power Wheel regardless of the tune/ammo.

I have never tried shooting from Min to Max. Doing that doesn’t even fit into tuning an Impact for optimum performance at a given reg setting. Sorry, no help here.

Looking at my notes, I would say a ~ 100 FPS spread is more typical when tuned near max starting out. It just depends on the tune to begin with.

All depends on the regulator pressure and your HS preload, a lot of variables so hard to say. I usually go with high regulator pressure tunes so I have over 300fps spread between Min and max, there isn’t a “normal” because everyone’s goal for the tune is different so there is no normal. 


also with virtually no restriction at TP and probe the tune difference will show up more. The down side is with no restriction at TP consistency at lower power pellet tunes won’t the same with restrictive TP which provides consistency.
