Is there any reason beyond initial installation for the slug pin prob to be adjustable . If so for what . All you can do is shorten it because of mag . Is there a reason or time to ever shorten ?

I thought about dorking out on the adjustment depths of the pin probe.....then I remembered being consistent is more important. So I figured how can I adjust this to be the most consistent? I took a straight edge and adjusted it to level of the mag well. That way the magazine always goes in and I don't need to remember or measure the pin probe depth. Just me

It is adjustable, so there is no false advertising. You can adjust it so your slug, not pellet is just barely in the liner. Notice I didn’t say seated. Or you can adjust it so your projectile is obstructing your transfer port. It’s adjustable. If you really want to adjust your seating depth with any probe on a FX gun, you do it with a lathe.
