Tuning Impact tuning question (harmonic)

I just checked my new Impact and it's shooting the 33.95gr pellets around 826fps on Max (didn't test any other speed). Any guess as to what the 25gr pellets will be going at? I have some on the way, but none to test. The factory settings (.25cal 700mm barrel) are:

Regulator - 110 bar

Hammer Spring - 19.5mm

Valve - 9.04mm

I think your gonna be just above the 950’s with the light 25.39’s on that tune. I’m pretty close to that tune on mine slinging 27.2’s at 880 or so with reg at 115 bar roughly.

I have the Huma dual hole port V2 (and the probe on order) to install once I get this thing figured out and comfortable with it. I should be able to dial back the reg a bit and keep the same velocities. Or go faster.

Not necessarily. Document where you are before you change to the new Huma port and pin probe. I would recommend just the dual port first and tune to optimal for your projectile choice. Pin probes in my testing have minimal gains above the TP change and more of a pellet / slug seat issue. DIY standard FX probe mods yield slight gains and consistent pellet/slug seating. This has proven true for me on my Impact, Dreamline and Maverick. YMMV of course.

I didn't order the pin probe. I ordered the other one.

To answer your question.....

If it's really accurate at your setting....., just leave it there.

And now to complicate things ( and you can ignore this if wish), I have noticed that with certain PW settings you get a better ES and SD. BUT a difference of a few feet per second up to say 10 fps, will not affect your POI that much. My gun seems to get best groups and best ES/SD at PW3....go figure.

So if where your gun is set now is giving you groups that put a smile on your face....then keep the smile....don't change anything.

IMHO
