Impact X .22 slug liner, do you have one?

It's still 22 caliber, but there are two different sizes from NSA. .217 and .218 diameter. One might give better results over the other.

Both of them are 22 caliber. FX manufacturered the barrels to work with slugs sized .217 diameter. However, some barrels will shoot the .218 size better. Still 22 caliber.

I'd measure mine for you but my cheap calipers don't go to the thousandths.

I tried both .217 and .218 in 23gr About the same results but the .218 did a little bit better. I was told to try heavier slugs. I have some 27gr in .217 and .218 I’ll try those tonight and post results.

I tried both .217 and .218 in 23gr About the same results but the .218 did a little bit better. I was told to try heavier slugs. I have some 27gr in .217 and .218 I’ll try those tonight and post results.

I tested the muzzle velocity with some the .217 28gr out of my 600mm, 835fps was about average.

Measured both the .217 and .218 in both 23gr and 27gr. Both didn’t measure as advertised. 

The .217 measured .216 and the .218 measured .217

In a recent hunting video posted by Matt, I think he uses the .217 @ 950fps and is getting excellent result.

At the STX Slug liner listing on Utah airguns website they have mentioned the .22 slug liner for 21-28gr slugs sized .218

Fx in an announcement regarding slug liners have mentioned .22 slug liner for 21-28gr slugs sized .217

I totally agree. I wound up ordering .217's initially, then .218's, then I realized the .217's were flying 15-20fps faster, so I bought more .217's. (23gr). If Matt is getting 950fps, I'm about positive his gun isn't stock. 930fps seems to be the top end for these stock.
