Impossible, You Have To Hear This

I made a post on 3/21 requesting information on how long delivery from T.W. Chambers in the UK took, from members that purchased from them. I placed my order on 3/20.

I have made many purchases from abroad and never had anything come so fast.

I made one order for two main springs and received an email and all the paperwork for that order. A couple hours later I realized I should have ordered two seals also and placed that order. I received an email stating that the order was processed but never received a tracking number for either order which the communication said I would.

The following morning I realized I screwed up and sent them an email asking if both orders could be sent together. Not only did they comply, they refunded my shipping cost for the one order AND refunded the Foreign Transaction Fee, which they didn't have to do with either..

I have to admit, I was a pain in the butt on this transaction and their cooperation was absolutely outstanding.


In addition to all this, I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the mailbox yesterday, 3/27 and seen the envelope from the UK. Seven days from the UK to my door, amazing, absolutely amazing..

I am lucky though, the envelope was damaged and a sticker on the back stating, "RECEIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION" and initials by someone. Nothing inside was damaged, just the envelope.

You have no idea how pleased I am with this transaction and will definitely deal with them in the future. I also sent them an email letting them know I was one happy customer.

I had to share this story because of the outstanding service I received from them after all the BS I caused. Thank You T.W. Chambers






 
Huma Air is the same, I ordered a regulator on 3/23 and it was delivered on 3/26! I'm not sure how these over seas vendors can get stuff shipped so quickly, yet all the Stateside Vendors are blaming COVID for delays that end up taking weeks to deliver. It was my understanding COVID is a worldwide pandemic, not just a Stateside pandemic! I'm beginning to think a lot of vendors are just using it as an excuse for laziness at this point, because the Huma-Air's, Krale's and T.W. Chambers' sure are making them look bad!

Nearly a week ago I dropped this at PA:

Hi;

On the 28th of Jan I ordered a TX200HC LH Walnut .177. At the time I was informed that there was a delay of 12 weeks and I'm good with that.

I am just wondering if that order is still on the projected schedule? By now you would have ordered it and it would likely be in a shipping container somewhere between here and England.

So could you update me on the status of that order.

Also your new web site is nice. The order status is not working correctly. If you look at the status on my order you will see what I mean. It is order #nnnnnn on my account under the name Michael ....

Oh yeah, AND this is a big one. Your answering service kept me on hold the other day for about 15 or 20 minutes and then just disconnected. Not cool! but not a problem for me ON THAT DAY. Another day and you'd have gotten a different reaction.

Please let me know what's going on with that order? I'd think keeping long term customers appraised of order status would be a priority, especially these days.

This is NOT the same Pyramid Air that I have been dealing with for a dozen years... don't know what has changed but ... yeah. I'm surprised too.
 
In years past I ordered from many of the English gun stores and always recieved top notch service! I dont believe their government runs their postal service like the US government does. We americans should know by now that when the govt sticks their nose in, nothing runs right!!

I recently joined this forum using the name me....no intent to stir up any trouble, I am real and serious. Retired field target competitor and retired Air gunsmith for well over 25 yrs. Just a plonker now but still enjoy shooting. If you would like to know more feel free to ask...thanks
 
I received a notice from PostNL, as I often mail packages to the US. It appears that as of the 18th of February the US Postal service is demanding that all packages being sent to the US from the Netherlands be registered digitally with them and paid for on-line in advance before the package can be posted.Once the shipment is registered, it can be brought to the post office to be mailed. I have not done this yet, so I don't know how it works. How this new regulation will effect Krale shipments to the |US have no idea. Consider this a heads-up message..
