Just got an Impulse 1200 Very nice quality will test tomorrow . Out of curiosity i will buy 2 more baffles to add to the 4 it comes with.

I have a 1200 with 5 baffles and took one off - my ears couldn't tell the difference, but then again I have tinnitus so I can't hear s**t to begin with! One of the few moderators I have that my POI doesn't change a lot!

All 3 of my 1200 are running 4 baffles. 22 cals.
My Panthera 22 call 700 has 5 baffles on the 1350.
Both FX 30 cals are running 5 baffles in the 1350.
I have tried 6 baffles, but found 4 or 5 is sufficient for me.
Be interesting to see what you end up with.

I recently bought a 1350 with some extra baffles to try it out on several rifles; not impressed at all with sound reduction. I'd have to definitively say it was a downgrade compared to DFL...but it looks good.
