In Florida can you hunt without a trapper guide?

Hello, in the state of Florida if you're not hunting on private land do you need to go on a guided hunt with a trapper?

Below you tube video he recommends hiring a trapper and a guide and that they called police before going out see section 07:45.

Can you hunt iguana without guide and trapper in certain counties? Or could you risk getting arrested.

If you are not from Florida and do not know your way around, or know the different city ordinances, it is in YOUR best interest to hire a guide.

It is actually illegal to hunt on public canals unless you have permission from Water Management district or hace FWC permitted access to do so. There are ways to circumvent that and that's where we (Guides) come in.

You don't have to call the police, but unless you want police to come at you armed suspecting of being some random crazy, you should call them and give them every bit of information you can so that when people call (and they do call) they can send someone to simply check you out from a far or dispatch will tell said person that you are fine to do what you are doing.

It is 100x easier to just go with a guide than trying to do this on your own. You are provided with airguns, ammo, air, vests, food, beverage, golf cart to ride along in or boat/airboat.
