Is it recommend to run a filter for the CS2 pumps. I’ve got one on the way and I believe they have a small cotton filter built into the fill line. Wondering if I should add another. For you CS2 users out there, what have you used?

I just use what it has and replace both cotton pieces regularly. I have been looking into an inline filter also.

I run the black inline filter that came with the compressor.
I have another as well.
I spoke to Bill at Target Forge and he said if you are using an inline filter after the gauge, then you do not need the small filter in the gauge body.
I use the one in the handle to filter the air into the pump, too.
I only use the CS2 for my PRod (35-45 seconds at a time) so water is hardly an issue with me.
