Thank you veterans for your service. My dad was a Korean War veteran and I have the honor of currently having a co worker who is a combat veteran. First thing I did this morning at work was pay my respects. Am acutely aware of the ultimate sacrifices made by many so that I may live as a free, proud American…🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️
 
I wish it was like this when I was in. Quite negative back then in the 70’s. So again, many thanks.
A disgusting shame how people acted. My dad told me he had heard about how others were treated, so he was waiting to have someone spit on him at the airport. He was really wanting to punch them in the face but he never got the chance. He was never sure if he should feel disappointed that he missed the chance or happy he wasn't mistreated. I suspect the look on his face walking through the airport would have dissuaded all but the blind.
