Has anyone tried indexing their barrel liners on the Panthera. When the Impact M3 first came out there was a lot of talk about indexing barrels. Also polishing barrel liners. I haven’t read about anyone doing this to the Panthera.

have not heard much of anything about indexing for some time. I never bothered with it. Was it just another tinker fad? Just asking.

I found out recently that FX puts a solid black line on the end of liner that should be in the 12 o clock position. That's where it was indexed from the factory. There's some good videos on it and it makes sense to do it on certain setups. Put the slight curve up instead of side to side.
I decided to index mine yesterday. There were no marks from the factory. After shooting and rotating the barrel I found out that mine was indexed in the three o’clock position from the factory. Also noticed the barrel liner has a carbon fiber sleeve which fits tight on the barrel liner. Not sure if it is bonded to the liner. This fits inside the barrel housing with a little bit of play. I may try to create a tighter fit between the liner and housing in the future.
