Ae there any indoor challenges going to be starting up as we approach winter. I have access to a range that can go 50-feet or less. Certainly 10 meters. Handgun or rifle. Are there some regular challenges that start up?
I'm hoping for the same thing here . A friend belongs to a range not far from me , after I introduced him to this " drug" airgunning, he is pushing to start an indoor shoot.Ae there any indoor challenges going to be starting up as we approach winter. Not having done any competition indoors or out , I can't speak for the traditional aspect. I haven't heard lately if he's garnered enough interest .How traditional do you think would be of interest? I have done the USA 50/50 (2006) as a 50-foot benchrest with springers. It could work with springer and pcp.
Alternatively I have a 15 fly target. Life size. 3 points head-shot, 2 points body and 1 wings or legs. It adapts to various platforms as well.
I was thinking this might be fun.
3 points head
2 points body
1 point wings and/or feet
0 miss
Score best edge, plug using unfired round (if needed).
Ok this was over ambitious.. At 10m these old eyes could only make out fuzzy dots. Irons are OUT!10m offhand & this would be interesting. Hell, I might even try it with a pistol & irons to see if these old eyes are up to the challenge.
I can attest ! This is a lot of fun at any distance , and you can use 60 lb card stock paper on most any printer (60 LB card stock is the thinest card stock , 60 LBS per 1k sheets )I was thinking this might be fun.
