I was a touring tech for a paintball gun manufacturer and his pro teams in the early 2Ks. We would tune, repair and service literally hundreds of guns over the course of a season and pretty much all of the fasteners were socket head cap screws. I learned quickly that the bare minimum quality for hex wrenches that you could rely on was Eklind or Bondhus. My good friend Terry who brought me aboard, was using a set of Team Loki titanium nitride coated hex drivers and I bought a set on his recommendation. These weren’t ball end, but they were precision ground from drill rod and refused to loose their sharp corners no matter how much they were abused. They would grip the socket inside of cap screws that had been rounded out so badly that other wrenches wouldn’t grab. I managed to break one once, but I never wore one out and still have them 20 years later. I know that they were rebadged with the Team Loki name and would love to know who the manufacturer was. For ball ends these days, I’m loving Wera.
