Install of Maccari ZRT kit in a Diana 52

Hi Guys

Couldn't figure out how to post pictures so made a slide show.

If you pause the video you can view the individual pictures for more details.

This is an install of a James Maccari ZRT tune kit in my Diana 52 .177.

I received the kit on 23/4/20 from the US, despite the pandemic.

First off you see my rifle.

Then the kit as received plus piston seal and breach seal which are in addition to the kit.

Then the disassembly views.

The view of the screw through the old breach seal is a trick I got from

Airgun Maintenance

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChzNNYdBrDAjbjIHf5UouCg

It is in Arabic I think so couldn't understand the speech but a video tells more than a picture.

Any way it worked, I found the right sized wood screw.

Screwed it through the breach seal carefully then was able to pull out the seal from where it is seated. Then used a pic to get it all the way out.

Then used his technique of using the rod at the back of the piston to seat the new breach seal.

Then the old and new springs.

Then all cleaned and hand polished ready to assemble

Then the finished rifle.

At the end you can see my solution to the scope mount moving.

There is a hole at the back of the scope rail on the rifle.

I found a drill bit that's 2.75 mm in diameter that was an interference fit in the hole.

So I cut a piece off the drill bit and tapped ( as in banged) it into the hole.

Very tight fit so will see if it lasts. If it vibrates out I will locktight it in position.

So far so good after shooting a few pellets.

Scope hasn't moved as yet.

The gun cocks smoother and seems more accurate.

Early days yet as it needs to wear in.

Hi Guys

Solved the posting of pictures.

They issue is that the Browser I use is Internet Explorer 11 and it does not support the features of this forum. That is the picture upload button gives an error and will not upload. The Insert Emoji doesn't work either and paste from Word as well. These are the ones I've tried but I suspect none of the button function.

Solution for me was to use my Android phone where the Browser I use is Chrome and all the functions work as you can "see clearly now the rain has stopped".

If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 you will likely not be able to post pictures and such.
