It is important to remember our philosophy for product development at Daystate.

We support our existing end users with a way to upgrade their rifles to the latest specification easily. For example with FREE software upgrades (Alpha and Delta Wolf) latest valves, rails and other accessories.

BLACKWOLF is no exception to this.

Any model in the new BLACKWOLF range can be re-configured to another by easily changed parts, most of which are easily replaced or modified by the end user.

For example Stocks, Barrels/Calibres, Rails, Bottle to Cylinder conversions, Tensioners, Hammer Springs, Volumax etc.

The color coded hammer springs in conjunction with the multi-step power adjuster seems intriguing to me. I like the adjustable stock on the tactical model. Overall this looks like a really cool new platform for Daystate customers.

Choosing a high-end air rifle is almost impossible these days. This is a strong contender, unfortunately for me. I thought I had finally made a decision.

I think the Walnut with airtube with 17” barrel is a centerfold. It may not be made for slugs in .177cal, but as a highpower pelletshooter it crazy good looking. One can always buy a slugbarrel later. I see the slugbarrel in ..177cal only comes in 28”. I wished they would make them in .23” too. I guess one can buy the long slugbarrel and have it set back for 23”?…

I'd be looking at the tactical + 17" 22cal barrel + 300cc tube + power plenum. I really like how modular this system is. The price is higher than I would have anticipated

First time post. Been reading all the awesome posts and learning a lot. Very intrigued with all the set ups. Decisions…Decisions. I do like that they switched to a pic rail.

After some consideration, I've reached a conclusion. It's a really nice gun, but I just can't justify the substantial price premium over the other rifles that I'm considering - Skout Evo and Daystate Red Wolf. Throw a Ghost in the mix as well, with similar features at a much lower price point.

You could buy 2 other guns for the price of th 28” chassis gun. It getting to the point of being ridiculous you can buy a 22lr and 15000 rounds for less

I have an aversion to adjustable plastic cheek rests, particularly on walnut or laminate, or even beechwood stocks.

I dunno why Minelli does that

BSA, Air Arms, and Daystate are beautiful guns that shouldn’t have those.

You nailed it. It's just the price. But that price...

What I can say is that if I were in the market for a .30 rifle I would seriously consider this with the 23" barrel. It's putting out some serious power at that caliber. Fortunately(?) I just splurged on a very accurate .30 so I'm set for a while.

I'll definitely be watching this platform as I could see this as a future purchase consideration at some point.

To be sorta fair, 2799 for base model, thats and upgraded Impact (backbone rail and some sort of rail under the bottle)

..and the M4 trigger can be set to 5oz.
