Introducing the Daystate Black Wolf!

$1800 for the base gray is less than M4, and with no barrel issues (real or imagined).
Your reply does not compute.

The base gray Blackwolf in 17'' with a cylinder is $2200. The most comparable FX model would be the DRS Classic in 500mm which is only $999. $1200 less.
The base gray Blackwolf in 23'' with a bottle is $2600. The most comparable FX model would be the King Synthetic in 600mm which is only $1850. $750 less.
The FX M4 bullpup should only be compared to Daystate's Deltawolf bullpup. The 700mm M4 is $2000 the 28'' DeltaWolf is $3200. $1000 less.

Are you kidding me? A mechanical rifle void of their uber expensive GCU and electronic trigger is more expensive than their RedWolf's? They just killed the value of their electronic guns. This sends a clear message that mechanical is better than electronic!
..or the price of the electronic rifles will increase soon.

I think we all need to rebel and not buy any until they slash the price. Supply and demand
Daystate imports so many components from other countries in Europe that Brexit has to hurt profits. Then add the high inflation GB experienced and prices have to go up. The Black Wolf looks nice, but you're effectively buying a version of the BRK ghost. I hope this work out for Daystate.

@Newobby Your correct, it doesn't compute. The 1800 price is in Pounds Sterling. Covert to US dollars and you get $2200.

It's really only like the Ghost in that you can change barrels, dial the power, and it's made by a UK company. I held and test fired them back to back and they're more different than alike. The Ghost is great for offhand shooting, perfectly balanced and not too heavy. It's a bullpup, for what it's worth. The trigger is massively different between these, though they can both be adjusted. I think you can make the Black Wolf trigger very close to the weight of a standard Ghost trigger, but I don't think you can lighten up a Ghost trigger to be as light as the Black Wolf can go.

The Black Wolf is serviceable as an offhand rifle, but it's not as well balanced and noticeably heavier than the Ghost. It's a really great bench shooter though, where the extra weight and length are advantages.

There some posts on the work required to get the Ghost trigger below 16oz. I think Franklink was a key contributer on those. It looks like a serious overhaul. The Black Wolf has potential cost issue IMHO.

Nobody is going to debate the high cost of the Black Wolf, especially me. I still put a deposit down though, because it checks all my boxes except price. I figure the pain of buying it will be short, but the enjoyment of owning it will be long.
