INTRODUCING THE FX DRS TACTICAL

Me right now:

But seriously - what a knockout! Time to make room in my stable for a 500mm .25 cal!

The marketing and design team over in Sweden are brilliant. I bet they sell a ton of these. The AR style isn’t really my thing, but I still love this concept. That is a cool looking rifle with good performance and a decent price tag. I like it. Hopefully they can bring it to market without long delays.

Even though this gun isn’t my style I must complement FX for their creative innovation. As always FX is trendsetting and their guns are becomming more and more air efficient. FX are pushing the standards to new levels. This benefit us all.
36 ft/ibs in .177cal with 50cm barrel is amazing. No need for a Kentucky long stick anymore to get this power. Maybe their standard DRS with a classic wood stock can do this?

Just a DRS with a different dress on. Calm down…lol hardly innovative
Noone said it was anything but what it is and we are ALL allowed to express opinions or basic impressions. I know you think this is an elitist forum site but ITS NOT.

Don't listen to this Trucker dude. Obvious pessimist. Like what YOU like. Don't be put down by the self proclaimed know it alls. Sometimes they don't know when to stop putting everything and everyone around them down.

Beautiful gun.

But I have some questions:
Is there any difference in performance compared to the DRS Pro or it's just the gauges and peripherals?
How many shot counts for 80 to 90 joules?
The spec sheet specifically says this rifle is geared towards pellets with the slightly smaller plenum and changes to air flow and such from a standard DRS.

Yeah the DRS of old do come with the heavy liner, at least in the 700 mm model, but i would want the new .177 - 1:16 barrel not 1:18 i already have.

geared towards pellets
Well i am generally slug shooter, which make sense if you are tied to .177, but i still think this have enough plenum for that job, .22 and .25 not so sure i have no experience with these calibers.

or deliver the CF air tube or come out with a mid-sized plentum for the classic many have asked for. I think this will be a real winner for FX. I have never owned an AR. I never felt a need to own one as I couldn’t use it here in PA for hunting. I believe the best self defense gun for the home is a shotgun. So I have a tactical shotgun. I have been wanting to get a .177 pellet rifle that I could put open sights on to practice offhand shooting in the yard. Just want to keep my shooting skills up for when I shoot my PB competitions which are open sights off hand at 50 to 70 yards. This may fill the bill Although a whole different look. I shoot the old classic falling blocks and break action rifles. But regardless it’s still trigger pull and sight control that matters. Got to sell something first though.
