INTRODUCING THE NEW FX LEOPARD

I’ll correct my self then. Ive only had the problem with the amp reg on 2x DRS, 1x crown mk2 and 1x panthera. They all suffered from it
No I get it all the one’s and the one I have creep about 5 bar or so. That hasn’t created a problem near as bad as what I’ve seen in the impact. It’s an issue for sure just a bit of a different one. In fairness to FX most guns I’ve had do this. I think it’s more the norm than anything. Crazy thing is the best reg I’ve ever owned (still own it) is the jts airacuda max. lol, that thing is rock solid. However I almost never shoot it. Might be why. I don’t know.

Tough crowd, lol.

Some of these comments would have gotten a guy a stay in the time out box (or at least a warning of such) not very long ago here on AGN.
I think there are too many disgruntled consumers now to keep quiet. I own 4 myself and I love them, but FX has some issues they should iron out if they want healthy sales to continue imo.

I like this better than the DRS. It is more adjustable, shorter but same shot count, and doesn't look like it is sporting a magazine. I hate that about the DRS, I don't mind if people think I might not be shooting an airgun because there is no bottle, but I don't like them thinking that I am shooting a firearm because there is a big magazine hanging down. A distinction with a difference.

The price will be only what the 27 MORE O-RINGS (than the last model had) cost to install :ROFLMAO: 🤪
As much as I admire FX we cannot escape the fact that FX=O rings. FX owners will, over time know more about O rings than the average hydraulic engineer. Me too apparently will also be an O ring expert with the new FX air pistol.

Matt stated in his video the Leopard has a 64cc plenum. The FX Maverick has a 89cc. Wouldn't that be a downgrade? The Leopard would not be able to sling slugs or heavier pellets like the Maverick?
I dont think that will affect the speeds very much. There is a point where the valve and transfer port cant use more air. I bet 64cc is plenty of plenum volume, and the DRS has a different valve design which seems to have a higher ceiling than the Maverick/Wildcat.

where does this fit into the lineup does the maverick go away?
Maverick will never go away. It will remain the best platform of the Swedish manufacturer. Most of the new models have pressure around the barrel, and this leads to headaches very, very often. For fun or hunting, for close or long range shooting, Maverick will always be at the top of the charts. The only thing that could improve a Maverick, oh yeah, a laminate bullpup stock.
Here is a picture and a video:

I really wish it would of been a dynamic block vs the DRS would of really liked the larger plenum vs the tube barrel looks like a waist to me I’ll stick with my mav hopefully this is a wildcat replacement and the MAV 2.0 with a dynamic block is coming
Agree in part…dynamic block I’d be all in for sure. To me this will do nothing that a maverick can’t. Especially true for pellet shooters like me. I guess in fairness neither would a dynamic block gun lol. I do much prefer the one regulator and the tuning system though of this. Not enough to get 2k out of me when I already have the wildcat bt.
