Introducing the Western Airguns Rattler .35 - NOW IN STOCK!!!

I am super excited... 😊 Ordered it from AOA this past Thursday. I've already got a 700cc bottle ready to install. 😊 Wondering if I will be able to use the FX bottle adapter on it like I've done with my AGT Vulcan 3. Quick changing a 700cc bottle is a bonus!

TJ barrel with sub MOA accuracy at 100yds (per article in Hardair magazine.com) This is going to be a beast! 😄

This company does't appear to have a website?
http://www.westernbigbores.com Takes you to AOA?

With the unknown status of LCS ,warranty work and AOA announcement of them dropping them:

I would be gun shy.

No need to be gun shy. Not disclosing what I've been told about how this one came into fruition, think of the Twix candy bar commercials. One on one side, one on the other. 😊 This one should be solid.

Yikes! I had not seen this. I am an LCS owner, of course got it from AOA. What gives with whoever makes these setting up a new line if they can't fill the pipeline for the existing one?

I suspect you will, the LCS uses the FX compatible valve system. One of the things I love about it, hot swapping bottles when they get low.

The Rattler 357 is a 15 shot semi-automatic big bore air rifle purposely built for larger game as well as long range shooting. With these 15 full power shots, the rifle can produce upwards of 270 ft-lbs of energy with each pull of the trigger. Made with the highest quality components and engineered to withstand the taxing demands required by the .357, the Rattler can stand up to the toughest shooting conditions. The long list of features include a 580 cc air cylinder, an adjustable regulator, and a hammerless firing system uniquely configured for incredible shot-to-shot consistency. A knurled throttle knob lies just below the high capacity magazine for quick and easy velocity changes and a wide range of power adjustments. Reaching maximum power of 270 ft-lbs, the Rattler is as comfortable shooting 81 grain pellets as it is sending 174 grain slugs down range. The Hammer Forged Nitrate Coated TJ barrel provides unmatched accuracy, producing sub MOA groups at 100 yards. At 21mm, the fixed Titanium magazine has enough depth to accept some of the longest slugs on the market today. The Western Rattler 357 is also equipped with a 20 MOA Picatinny scope rail, dual side rails, and a Picatinny bottom rail for attaching the bipod or accessory of your choice. A solid aluminum shroud silencing system quiets the report to a very comfortable crack. Lastly, the Western Rattler is equipped with dual safeties, AR style interchangeable grip, synthetic cheek piece, comfortable butt pad, and two easy-to-read gauges displaying bottle and regulator pressures alike. A removable bottle also comes standard for quick changes in the field. Larger game, long range target shooting, and easy pest control are standard fare for the Western Airguns Rattler 357!

Would love more info on reliability

As for now I can't say the gun is to expensive..right now almost every high end gun starts at $2000 .. some require easy another 800 in gizmos to shoot..so at $2700 shooting ready with that kind of muscle 💪 in 357 .. the gun has its place..a bulldog cost now $800+ by the time ir goes out of the tuner + shipping you are in for another $1200 .. and the gun only wort at best $700 ..usually if reliable it supposed to hold its value better.

from my perspective these are 3 guns in 1. first semi-auto is a big plus and convenience. second they can do decent power and get 50 shots per fill which is plenty for a fun plinking session. third it can sling 15 heavy slugs with deadly precision for hunting, all semi-auto.

many people here have semi-auto small calibers for plinking. and then they have big bore single shots for hunting. this gun can do both plus semi-auto for followup shots and defense. and so it's priced somewhat accordingly.

they just released a full-auto 30 cal with 17shot mag but with all the improvements of this model such as slug-friendly magazine, hot swappable air bottle, shrouded silenced barrel. price seems the same as the 357.
Just FYI, the LCS bottles are FX compatible hot swapable as well. That was part of the original LCS design, so not an added feature here. The addition of the slug friendly chamber and barrel is very nice though!
