I'll start by admitting that I didn't read all the posts... But my first 2 reactions when I watched Joe R's review were based on my field target background. It seems the designers were focused elsewhere. No issue with that but the such small differences would add folks like me to those interested.
The side wheel doesn't seem friendly to adding a 6" + wheel. Firm attachment of a large focus wheel is a big plus for me/many. The saw blade type wheel in Joe's video makes me wonder....
Then there is the fact that I shoot hunter style, In the US we can use 16x now if there is a factory marking at 16x, or the next lower. Now, am I worried about using 15x instead of 16x, not really but many folks will look at it and see the "slight" disadvantage when looking at a $1500 scope.
Time will tell.

Will the helix turats stand up to being turned up and down for yardage ajustmite? I saw a article that they wrote.It sade it needed to be over $500 to constantly move them up and down. I'm just try to figer our if I need to go up to the Titan for my Impact.

JCD - I second your comment on the 16x on the Nexus. Seems disappointing to exclude the HFT market. On the other hand a scope wheel is pretty easy to 3D print for a knurled side-parallax adjustment (I have made a few for the Bushnell Nitro's and Athlon Midas and they have held up well).
I would like to see the scope dimensions similar to way MidwayUSA used to do. It helps identify the "focal length" which is helpful for HFT folks.
I am intrigued to see how these scopes perform on the range.

Great documentary Matt wrote, very interesting read. I especially like the part left out about how NSA provided most all of the initial ammo used to support this endeavor. The scopes definitely look very nice, unfortunately the market for them is pretty saturated. Best of luck to all involved

I just ordered a nexus to be installed on my also on order .35 impact. I am thinking the next month or more waiting on this delivery will try my patience. But here is hoping for Christmas in April.
I was glad to see Matt's videos on the scopes he did a good job of explained the differences and origins of the optics. I would cast a vote for a MOA reticle that has just hash marks not the circles. Two thumbs up for the neoprene cover its simple and just work without being in the way when shooting.
I am eager to compare it to 2 scopes I am fond of the Steiner m5xi and Trijicon accupower rs50c
