I'll start by admitting that I didn't read all the posts... But my first 2 reactions when I watched Joe R's review were based on my field target background. It seems the designers were focused elsewhere. No issue with that but the such small differences would add folks like me to those interested.
The side wheel doesn't seem friendly to adding a 6" + wheel. Firm attachment of a large focus wheel is a big plus for me/many. The saw blade type wheel in Joe's video makes me wonder....
Then there is the fact that I shoot hunter style, In the US we can use 16x now if there is a factory marking at 16x, or the next lower. Now, am I worried about using 15x instead of 16x, not really but many folks will look at it and see the "slight" disadvantage when looking at a $1500 scope.
Time will tell.
