After thinking about it for a long time I took the plunge and I entered the world of air rifles.

Since there is no sense doing anything half-way, I got more than one.

Last week the UPS guy delievered a new Hatsan MOD 95 Vortex QE .22 and a refurbished Beeman R9 .177. Tomorrow I'll take delivery of a Hatsan AT44S10 Long QE.

I have a nice side yard where I can shoot up to 48 yards and solid .22 trap.

Fun hobby

Isn't there a hazing where we bash his equipment and hobby and drag him down?
You equipment isn't expensive enough.
You'll never get tight groups with those.
Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

That should do it. Welcome

What caliber is your at44? I ask because I recently got one in 177. Still waiting to get a pump so I can try it out. Did you get a new one? What year was yours made? Have you had a chance to try yours out? Just curious and wanted to see how our two similar purchases compared. I am also new to the air gun world and have been pleased with the friendly responses and kind suggestions from the other members.

Welcome and looking forward to perhaps sharing some words

My AT44 is .22, I bought it refurbished directly from Hatsan. I am not entirely sure when it was made, unlike my Mod 95, the date is not clear. it is in pretty solid shape.

I have not had a chance to try it since the weather has been trash. Got it pretty well set up and prepped to go. I have 3 charged air cylinders, mounted an Athlon Argos BTR Gen 2, 10-40x56, removed the front and rear sight, added some extra muffling material to the moderator, adjusted the trigger, added fill material to the buttstock.

I suspect I will at least try some test shots today.

The birth date is on the side. Mine as you can see in the picture is 1021 (October 2021).

I stuffed my stock too. Couldn't stand the hollow sound it made when touched. I went with guaze. No additional weight but definitely dampened the empty cavern sound.
