Nice shooting!

The Iguanas are highly intelligent. I started shooting them at my property and initially I was able to take them down with a spring rifle but with time they started keeping the distance. Today iguanas are all around my neighbor's home, sometimes he calls me to take one down, but now they don't enter my property...how in hell a reptile has learned the danger zone.. don't know.

In the permission where I hunt same thing. Now big ones start moving when they see me at around 60 yards.

I live on the intracoastal waterway and they are a real problem!

They leave their piles (about like a poodle) all over my dock and they eat every pretty flower that blooms and maybe the final straw is, they really upset my

black Lab. He is a very quiet dog normally but when he looks out the windows and sees an Iguana he goes ballistic! They don’t stand a chance against my Impact at all.

It is only 20-25 yards anywhere on my property from my 2nd story perch. There is a big bull that I have seen lately across the intracoastal on a cement sea wall trying to take advantage of the morning sun. It is about 117 yards and when the right circumstances are all in place I am going to end his suntanning sessions for good!!

I will keep y’all posted.

Happy Trails....

they do figure it out pretty quick once you start culling them. when i started i would get up to half a dozen in the back yard. then they got to where if i stepped out on the porch they would start moving away.......... i just spent a couple weeks away & there were a few that weren't aware this yard is "haunted" when i got back. i have dispatched them & now all is quiet again. now i need to deal with the coon............
