Invicta Field Target match August 24th
Great temperatures greeted the nine shooters who made it out to play our game, and it would have been perfect conditions, except for the naughty wind and towards the end the heat mirage.....
Cliff made it back up from Florida JUST to shoot the match.... well almost, and Jim made it out for the second time in a row, I hope we see more of him this season!
Very important note! The next match will be September the 7th, I moved the match as the Pyramyd Cup will be on the following weekend, so make sure you show up on the 7th and not the 14th LOL.
Bill was doing some awesome shooting, was only down two shots half way through the course, and the he got to the off hand lane, which he unfortunately goose egged, after that he dropped another four, but was really cruising there for a while. Brad brought out his MK1 TX200, and shot an amazing 51, but like me got caught by the wind! I didn't aim off enough, or aimed off and it went exactly where I aimed..... that cost me five points, I don't know how many it cost Brad, but each one hurt!
Okay so for this match I thought I might try and make sure my rifle was zeroed with the right pellets for a change, for some reason I had used FX for the last two matches and while they are good and look identical to the JSB, I was getting flyers.... anyway Danny couldn't make the match due to family commitments, and that gave me the chance to get top score for a change!
Everyone had fun, so don't miss out and come out to play!
