Invicta September match 2023
Well, we had near perfect weather to come out and play our game, unfortunately a number of folks couldn’t make it out, due to prior commitments, and that is totally understandable. However I do send this email out to quite a number of people we just haven’t seen for quite a while, and I hate to think I am clogging up your email box with unwanted emails, so if you no longer want to get my emails, please let me know.
Anyway, we had seven shooters come out and had some premium fun, near perfect weather except for the start of the autumn winds that caused too many pellets to miss their desired location….
Danny had an event later in the day to go to, so he had to leave early, and as we had an odd number of shooters, Danny shot alone, and while he didn’t think he did very well on the course, (he later mentioned is rifle was shooting too slow) that didn’t stop him from getting top score of the entire match! I had to rebuild my regulator last week, and the improvement to my score from the last couple of matches made me a happy camper!
With my zero turn mower being broken down for the third or fourth time this season, Brad came out early and brought his weedwacker and pretty much cut the whole course with it, once again he saved the day! With my mower being down again, I haven’t had a chance to clear the new course, I hope we can have it up and running so we have a two day match for the TN State, we will have to see!
God Bless
