A fine day and a good time was had by all.

It seems that every match we have scheduled this year had the threat of rain, or it was raining...... the last match we just had a mere fifteen percent chance of rain, and it poured down for a while, however this last Saturday, it was a whopping twenty percent chance - but we managed to shoot the whole course and tear down before the clouds dropped their contents.
A bunch of the regulars had prior commitments, but still we had nine come out to brave the elements, and the ones that stayed after were treated, not by my hockey pucks, but by well cooked food from my blushing bride.
Harold came out with a gun he has just put together, with a borrowed scope, and he had to zero his rifle shooting the course, welcome to my world, LOL. Seriously he shot extremely well considering the handicaps he had to cope with.
Brad Troyer came out with his trusty TX200, and although we had virtually no wind to deal with the, course was still rather difficult, but despite that Brad missed just TWO targets, one was the far kneeler, so it was truly awesome shooting, congratulations once again Brad!

38/60 Pat O'Brien TM 1000 Nikko 10-50"
And a few pictures I took,
spare targets:
Jeff's rifle and stainless spinner targets for sale:
sight in range:
Jeff decided to shoot the "forced" lane - kneeling- from the legal standing position, got 5 out of 6 targets:
Firemarshall with his TM1000 in open pcp:
One of three left hand shooters Saturday
Harold using a rifle he put together the night before with a new scope, some very good mods done to his rig:
Brad using his 12fpe TX200 for the top score of the day:
David shooting some antique most kids haven't tried but should:
My Squirrel hunting partner Steve with his factory lefty ( No MK) TX200 in WFTF - he tends to use an RWS panther for squirrel) . Roz won a National championship with it then kindly sold it to Steve some years later and he took his class with it at the nationals:
Charles with an FBW (?):
Some very cool targets :
The blocks stay just the targets get pulled, then next match just move the block's around a bit, maybe lash a target to a tree 10' up,...
same target as above, from a proper shooter position no portion of the base is visable, just too easy to bracket target bases for range:
Gear reduction winders really help esp. on the 55 yard lanes:
Naturally followed by Lunch (Dinner if your Southern) and talk, I believe there was an outstanding deal to be had on a well proven TX, some scope swaps/sales, talk of the past Nationals, next BIG TN match and other good airgun times.
Everyone needs to attend FT shoots!
