is 2 guns the solution?

dizzums,

you know that you're precariously balancing on a slippery slope.... 😵

You only have 2 (two!) guns for this type of shooting — and you are wondering if 2 are too many..... 🤦🏻‍♂️

If you keep going down that path any further ⁹you can very easily end up with NO GUNS AT ALL!! 😲 (slippery slope)

The advice of some of our fellow AGN'ers has been seasoned with wisdom:
▪︎ You simply can't have too many guns
▪︎ Every job done right requires the right tool
i.e., every quarry is different every range is a different shooting scenario, every day of the week could pose its own gun requirement [my willful misinterpretation of @Vetmx post].

I'm just trying to be helpful here, so please, seriously consider my suggestions for an optimal pesting gun equipment list:

★ You NEED a semi or fully automatic gun: To face the challenge of multiple targets.

★ You NEED a large caliber gun — .357 or above — in order to produce glory kills as scaring examples of the fate that pest animals awaits if they risk to cross your property lines.

★ You NEED a slug gun — because that is what the AG trends require you to have — so, stop fighting it and follow suit to current fashion!

Cheers, 😉

After a two year period of battling raccoons, rats and mice I have very few problems -- for the past three years. This year !one! raccoon tried to come into our yard.

I think what's going on is our property has a bad reputation among the racoons. That, and several of our other neighbours offer greener pastures. So I don't see any raccoons, other than the dumb young ones.

What I think that means is you either live a long way from your neighbours, or they're stingier than you.

I had more trouble with ravens this year, than with raccoons.
