Is a Hw100 more quiet than the daystate air wolf/pulsar/mk3/mk4 ?

Has anyone used the electronic trigger daystate air rifle like the pulsar & air wolf & mk3 & mk4?

How do they compare in noise level to the weihruach hw100? How big is the difference in sound level from the mechanics of the air rifle when you press the trigger. Which one do you think is quieter? The hw100 or the daystate and which model? Thanks

The problem with my springer hw97kt is that it's too loud.

I've got a Daystate Pulsar (2 actually). I've also got an HW100 Bullpup. No don't have a longer barreled HW100.

The HW100 "bullpup" is one of the louder guns, muzzle wise. Mechanically, the HW, is about the same as many/most other guns.
As you can imagine, yes, the electronic Daystates are pretty quiet mechanically, since there isn't much going on...mechanically. But, yes...there still is things happening under your ear.

Might just be earplug time. Get the foam ones that are inserted, "into" your ear. That way, they don't hang anywhere to get in the way of your cheek-weld.
I have a couple of guns that I think about doing that. Better that, than losing / damaging your hearing.

I have a standard power Red Wolf .22 and an HW100 in .177. The difference in sound resulting from the internal mechanicals is probably more noticeable to the shooter than anyone at a distance from the rifle. I believe the down range sound level is going to be largely a matter of power level. I have tuned my HW100 down to 11 fpe, and it is extremely quiet.

Which of the Internet mechanicals of them both do you notice less when shooting?

Better than daystate pulsar?
No experience with the Pulsar, but I expect the shooting experience would be similar to the Red Wolf. Mechanical vs electronic rifles is a difficult comparison. I prefer a good mechanical trigger, and I'd rather not be at the mercy of electronics. That said, my RW is as accurate as any rifle I've owned, and it's been trouble free. I just like simple stuff, and I expect that I'll sell it at some point. Whether it's "better" is really subjective. These are high quality rifles, so it gets down to preference.
