Is a used rifle supposed to be perfect. If stated it does not have problems?

Hahaha I knew you(@BigTinBoat) had an ulterior motive to post on this thread. Here’s the background story with my “transaction” with big tinny. I needed an SSG and he responded to my request. We agreed that I would 3d print him some parts for the SSG. He sent it and I never 3d printed the parts because I couldn’t get the damn thing working and I forgot about it. That was my bad I should’ve messaged him right then. He reminded me months later not in a private message but in a thread that had nothing to do with him…kinda like right now. I offered him a tin of pellets for it. That’s what I thought it was worth. FYI it was maybe $3 worth of hardware parts and whatever time it took him to make. He balked at my offer so then I messaged him and asked what he wanted. He never replied. Now I see why you didn’t reply. You don’t want to let it go and get compensated for it. You want to keep it going like a scorned woman. Get over it buddy. And my offer still stands. How much do you want for the crude SSG that couldn’t have took you longer than a half hour to put together. Had I known them that SSG’s could be made so easily I woulda made it myself

As for Scotay, you are a liar. Earlier in this thread you stated you told me it was had marks on it. Show me the messages where you said that or the ad where you said that. Then you say you refunded me. No you didn’t refunding me would be giving me the refund BEFORE I had to make the claim. When I called you up and you laughed at my request for a refund like a child. You could’ve been a man and gave me my money right then and there. Instead you had to have PayPal get involved to make you refund it. Kinda like a child that needs his mom to make him return a toy that he stole from another kid. I got my money back and you will get your rifle back. Did I not call you as soon as the money was refunded. If it’s such a good deal of a rifle you should’ve had no issues taking it back and selling it to one of the blue book experts in this thread that think your rifle and crap is worth $2000. Did I not message you yesterday and tell you I won’t be able to ship it until the weekend! I work in hot attics and roofs all day then go home to spend what little time I got with my son. No way in hell am I gonna rush to send you your rifle for someone like you. This is my word that you WILL have your rifle and other crap. I will make a post here when I do. No one’s judging you buddy. Everything spoken here is facts. And you know the old saying.. the truth hurts!

I'll tell you what, since you want to be a condescending d$ck about my work, how about you send the SSG back?

Thanks

But how did it shoot? haha j/k

As a seller i disclose the condition and send any additional photos if requested.
Its also important as a seller to set a contingency if the buyer is not happy. As much as I want to use the funds for a new project, it sits in limbo until the buyer accepts the deal. Have an agreement that if they are not happy who pays the return shipping.

I treat transactions like I am dealing with a personal friend, not as a business. How would you describe the object to your best friend who is interested in buying it.

The sooner this is seen as a learning experience for the seller, the less salt in the wound...I think enough people chimed in for him to get the idea, or he can stay on the same disgruntled path and not learn 🤷
Btw, i know i messed up. It happens, still love the judgement. And as for laughing at him, that was after he said i was a shortbus rider. I said he would be refunded upon me receiving my rifle back. He was then pissed and went straight to paypal. Even ebay doesnt refund until it has been returned and inspected. But that is outlandish i guess. Again the sinner in me for thinking that.

I'm going to put the over and under at seven pages if this thread isn't locked by mods. Not only has the dead horse been beaten, the entire herd has.
Plus, when are those new FX slugs going to hit the shelves??
No, i want my rifle back from this guy. I hope they keep it up until i can say it is returned.

This is where i got the rifle. Show me what i changed and covered up.
Not wishing it upon either party, but watching these two sort it out if the shipping company breaks the stock in half on the return trip should get real interesting.
Why put that out there? That kinda is wishing it upon someone.

Actually, now you’re wrong. If you’ve been refunded, then the rifle should have been shipped back on the next business day. If that means doing it on lunch or on the way home from work, that’s when you do it.

Thank you, i still want to see all of these 1/3 of retail highend rifles that everyone gets that are pristine when advertised as used. Still not seen any of that, but keep it comin boys.
Just because it’s 1/3 retail doesn’t mean you don’t disclose mechanical or cosmetic flaws.

Of course if you had, we wouldnt have this marvelous thread 🤪

Good, great or perfect condition in the used anything world is totally dependent on the individual. That’s why buying used is risky. We’ve all heard the old saying. One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.
I hope and pray my “junk” will never be another man’s treasure, not in this life, anyway!

Big question for @Scotay42....How much you going to ask for it when you relist in the classifieds?
The same. Feel free to message. You should have all the info you need right here. Weird i am told over and over i was trying to make money, when i was losing reguardless. Meh
