Magazines add more parts and complexityDon't think I would be interested in a fully automatic version, but a magazine fed single shot would certainly be appealing.
Agreed. I am more likely to buy a signle shot loader for my mag fed guns, than a magazine for my AirForce.Magazines add more parts and complexity
just got to wonder how many full auto rounds can be fired before the gun beats its self to pieces. If only Airforce would move in this direction.
But increase functionality because you can stay on target after firing a round.Magazines add more parts and complexity
And that can be really handy if you missed with the first shot. But increase functionality because you can stay on target after firing a round.
I love my .257 LLS Texan and would not consider selling. However and this is just my opinion, after the Ton Jones video claim of a world record, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Again, just my opinion that Airforce sales moved in a slightly different direction after the video claim. Just like the nose on your head, everybody has one. An "Opinion" ....
Small target, elevated with distance. Easy to miss, especially when they move just as you fire. And that can be really handy if you missed with the first shot.
My most prolific pester was a single shot Artemis pp700sa, wish I hadn’t sold it. Solid, solid gun, I only let it go because of the single loading. Fine for target shooting, in “real world“ pesting, on occasion, a follow up shot is “quickly” needed or? Gasp! You actually miss! If you are in a target rich situation single loading is a disadvantage…Small target, elevated with distance. Easy to miss, especially when they move just as you fire.
But then I am sure *real* hunters never miss any of their shots.
