Airforce IS AIRFORCE GAINING POPULARITY AGAIN?

Some time back I bought a Talon P from Mike. He missed it and I sold it back to him but that gun sold me on the Airforce brand. I really liked that Talon P but thought I would like to have the built-in baffles better. The Escape SS is the same as the Talon P but has the built-in baffles and I got one. Now I have several Airforce guns. I have done some swapping of parts so they are not factory original for the most part but that is part of what I like about them. I can mix and match and end up with just the setup I want or need. When I traded for the Escape SS .22 it had a regulated 4500psi tank on it that gets dozens of shots. I have tendonitis so I need the guns light to be comfortable. The Condor was pushing it a little so I swapped the Escape UL 18-inch .25 barrel and its small tank to the Condor, I also had a small Talon Tunes can I put on it. So now the Condor is like a Condor SS but it weighs 6.0 pounds with the scope on it ready to shoot. The Condor Tank went to the Escape SS .25 so it weighs 1 pound more but gets twice as many shots. The Escape SS .22 got the small tank from the other Escape SS and the Escape UL got the regulated 4500psi tank and will get a 12 inch .177 or .20 barrel. All my guns will be less than 6.5 pounds ready to shoot after I get the 12-inch barrel. Not ugly, they look like Star Wars blasters and that makes them pretty cool to me. Hey, I'm old so I am allowed to be weird. It's in the manual.
As purchased.
Escape SS .25
Escape SS .22
Escape UL .25
Condor .22

Had a couple Talon SS's in the early 2000's. One fitted with an 18" barrel and a threaded end cap like what DonnyFl makes now, LDC attached at the end. The other a 12' tuned for low power stealthy short range pest control..

I loved the flexibility of the platform in terms of power, caliber, and customization...Breech area is huge, and not having to worry about if the ammo would fit in your magazine was nice. Just cram it home! I liked the looks..Wasn't so fancy I'd cry if it fell over, and wasn't so ugly I'd cry shooting it..Barrel swap in minutes etc.

Mine were both pre spin-loc, so removing the bottle to fill was a minor gripe. Single shot another minor gripe. Most issues were solved with modification.

If I were to get another I'd go for a Condor SS

There are 3 things in this pic, that I wouldn't shoot a AF without it , the forth is the carbon bottle, with those going for as little as $90 shipped.. in AGN, There is no reason to use the metal bottle any more .. the other 3 are the long picatinny rail at the top, the workguard is the biggest mod for me which not only streng the bottom it allow me to use my favorite grip , it gives the proper trigger finger placement for me that alone change the gun completely.. without the wockgurd i could safely say that i could not be using the AF guns.. factory grip way to small n uncomfortable for any serious shooting for .ME .

I love my .257 LLS Texan and would not consider selling. However and this is just my opinion, after the Ton Jones video claim of a world record, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Again, just my opinion that Airforce sales moved in a slightly different direction after the video claim. Just like the nose on your head, everybody has one. An "Opinion" ....

🤣😂 yup really ridiculous. How does he though that the air gun community will believe that ..

Small target, elevated with distance. Easy to miss, especially when they move just as you fire.

But then I am sure *real* hunters never miss any of their shots.
My most prolific pester was a single shot Artemis pp700sa, wish I hadn’t sold it. Solid, solid gun, I only let it go because of the single loading. Fine for target shooting, in “real world“ pesting, on occasion, a follow up shot is “quickly” needed or? Gasp! You actually miss! If you are in a target rich situation single loading is a disadvantage…

To the OP, the answer would be no… Simply too many other choices, plus they’re ugly… I said it…😈🙈🙏
