is an Impact M3 barrel indexed at the factory?

There was a mark ( black marker ) on my Maverick barrel at the top in the muzzle end, so when messing about i have put the barrel in the same way

In my last job i also used a black marker straitening out hardened gear input axles out before grinding them, using a bit heavier means than i have seen FX use on barrels, but also more heavy stuff i was working on.

Maybe they marked them while straightening the liners.

I saw the mark on my barrel then ground a shallow mark on it with my Dremel. I doubt the ink mark will last. I’m sure it wasn’t indexed. That takes valuable time.

My superior heavy liner I ordered for my M3 had a red mark on the muzzle end when I received it. I put that at 12 o'clock. It shoots one hole groups a 50 yards with FX 34(25 cal)grain pellet. not sure if that was indexed or a quality control mark.
