This has nothing to do with FX airguns just the USA distributor getting an FX from someone like Utah should be just fine as long as they have it in stock. I’m sure Fredrik is looking for a new distributor to maintain the inventory flow.

Don’t forget AoA got screwed big time IMO out of the original distributorship that brought FX to prominence in the US, most likely because of all the promises that Jonathan made to Fredrik. How many good people lost their job because of that? All those friendships and relationships gone most likely due to Jonathan. The AoA bridge has been burned, crumbled and turned to dust. Fredrik has to find a new distributor and the longer it takes the more financial pain his company will feel, while at the same time dealing with the lawsuit. A new distributorship will take big money and will be painful for the new distributor who will have to clean up the mess left behind by Jonathan and get the new distributorship up and running. How many vendors have been hurt by one man’s greed. Jonathan will deny it just like Bernie Madoff, the folks at Enron, let’s not forget Sam Bankman-Fried and so many many more. Jonathan watched too many episodes of American Greed and figured he could do it too.

I don't like muddying the waters further, but your post's insinuation that FX deserves what's coming to them requires rebuttal. FX discontinued their relationship with AoA because they wanted a pure distribution center for their products. AoA is a distributor of many products and importer of Daystate and Brocock. So, they get more points when selling Daystate (which they import) than products they don't import. Additionally, if they sell to retailers, their profit is smaller than if they were to just sell directly to the customer. FX saw this strategy as a huge limiter to their growth potential - if smaller retailers are only fed when the cup runneth over. The numbers usually size up to 50% profit as opposed to 30%. So, when demand is high - they distribute to other dealers. When demand is low - they do not. They fill their plate (as a retailer) first before dishing out to other retailers (as a distributor). FX did not like this distribution/sales strategy, so they created their own. I'm not saying this is right or wrong. It's business. Companies disagree and adjust. Regardless, the current situation at FXUSA has nothing to do with AoA or cosmic justice.

A few interesting things I learned from reading the exhibits:
- YouTubers are doing okay promoting airguns
- Slugs have 2x markup
- Halos are coming in Summer 2024. It says so in the financial deck.

Someone posted a little while back about all this and said the service and warranty center at least would transfer to Utah. This isn’t a reason to bail on buying their products. Yes there might be a disruption but rest assured that service will return full fledge to the United States. I wonder was this FX guy related to that douche bag Wayne something from the NRA ? Sound like brothers.

UA is going to get overwhelmed. I pray I need nothing for the foreseeable future. Nobody is currently equipped to handle what FX in NC could barely keep up with.

County said it well. The different with AoA was they were screwing over other dealers and consumers because they wanted to hold all the inventory for themselves so they got the largest margins. Where as FX USA (except for the legion) had zero retail spot so they attempted to distribute to the dealers as evenly as possible.

I rarely post but man this is just a bad deal for the employees. I called to order parts a few months ago and was chatting with the girl helping me. She had an NC accent and I asked if she was a local. She said she was from Wilmington but that she was the only local at the company. She said everyone else was there because they wanted to work for FX and in the airgun industry and all were from out of state.
I can not comment on if he did what is being said but if he did wow! I can not understand how someone could go in and see all these employees know that at some point the house of cards will fall and they will be screwed.

As long as the people doing the work are still there it should be ok. It’s only the CEO of FX USA that was the problem.

I lost respect for FX-USA years ago after they took over NINE yes NINE MONTHS to repair my Dream Pup. It was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a warranty claim and customer service department. I hope Fredric can straighten it out because this was all on the FX-USA and not with the EU company.

Sadly it seems FX put their trust in the wrong person very sorry to see this. I am sure it will take some time for the dust to settle. I think FX makes great products (I own 5) and I hope their reputation doesn't take too big a hit over this. Fraudsters are everywhere it seems hard to understand the motivation that drives people to do that.

Probably should just not comment at all on this thread… but most companies of that size will have both internal and external contracted CPA firms like PWC or Deloitte to do their financial affairs and audits etc. in USA or abroad, and it’s the companies owner or board of directors to make sure this happens for liability reasons and more. So in my mind it’s more than just the U.S. division that’s at fault. There’s more than one man at fault here? My opinion only.

The FX Radar app lists Utah Airguns as the US service/support and distributor, as does the main FX Airguns website.

I went to FX USA site: Clicked on photos.. Now this is "rich." There is a photo of a M3 and a small book with an essay by Elbert Hubbard, titled "A message to Garcia." listened to the first 1 minute of it.. Wow, just wow.. All I'll say about it.
