Is it a pistol or an SBR (Short barrel rifle)

I bought a Crosman 1377 a number of years back then added the Crosman rifle stock. It's an accurate little bugger.
I pumped 3 times for each of these shots at roughly 5 yards if I recall correctly. The muzzle is pointing at the 3 landed shots.

1377s are sweet pistol/carbines… I will never part with mine.

Im not an expert by any means, but the way i understand it is thats its none of those. airguns are not classified as far as i know. Maybe under some local jurisdictions.

I had one when I was much younger. Like back when rocks were still soft. lol
I absolutely loved that gun. I routinely killed squirrels in the top branches of trees.
I will purchase the next one I find.

Yep...short barreled rifles.
"Pistols"...don't have stocks.

Yeah, I know, even the military made a few stocks for the Government .45. Never seen or heard of them actually being used. The Mauser...wrong country ! But again, never have seen them in combat usage.

Same here, I was in my teens. I could hit a BB with a BB out of the 1377. My first mice and rat kills were with my 1377, alas my first was lost many years ago, fell out of my holster.

There is a guy that frequently sets up a table at our local gun shows. He has several older air guns.
Last fall I noticed 2 of these on his table with the boxes. I will check them out at the next show.
