That’s your way of thinking and that’s fine. I wouldn’t take a shot on a deer or elk that I wasn’t confident in making, but coyotes are a different story in my world. The only good coyote is a dead one, but where you’ve never dealt with them before, let alone, hunted them, you probably put them on a way higher pedestal than what they deserve. Take a stroll out through your sheep herds over there after a fox has been through and maimed ewes and ate the guts out of a lamb while it’s laying there bawling until it dies. Maybe you’ve never had to deal with that kind of stuff, but I have and it’s very disheartening to see, so no, coyotes don’t fit in that standard.
