It's the best choice as it works well and cannot cause dieseling. Been using GPL-205 on my Diana 34 for a while now. Be sure to remove all existing lube in the compression tube before using it.
Switched from diesel and drying out prone molly lubes to non-dieseling non-drying out Dupont Krytox several years ago never to look back.............
Anywhoo........The Dupont greases I've tried are Krytox GPL205, GPL204, GPL226. I also tried Ultimox 226, however a couple years ago I settled on "Plain Jane" Dupont Krytox GPL205 or GPL204 for all lubing of my .177 R9 and HW95 except I also use Dupont Krytox GPL105 & GPL106 OIL for lubing my cocking lever linkage where it's difficult to get grease into the joint.
