Damn! I wish that you would have tested a butt load of slugs, because I have, and I still am not getting dime coverable groups yet. Pellets will do well at 50y, but so what, this is supposed to be my 200y can plinker. If anybody finds a Sub-MOA slug in .22, at 100y, I would love to hear all about it!
Mar 28, 2025 EDIT: Success! After trying 10 different slugs at different speeds: the ZAN 23gr .217, reg set to 2450psi*, hammer spring adj for 925fps. Tackdriver.
*Note that I did up my thimble size and got an extra 10bar doing so. So, on a stock gun you might want to actually run the reg at 2600psi, but still set the hs for 925fps from the ZAN 23gr .217 slugs. This is a guess on my part at this point, obviously.
Nate didn't run a suppressor because he said in the comments that he didn't want to tune for one and wore earmuffs. I had problems with only one suppressor that messed with accuracy (a .30 Ronin, my best) but the one that was just awesome with this gun was the small 0 dB110. Much quieter than my STO Levitas and my Tanto, no effect on accuracy at all.
