Is the Sig Sauer Asp 20 the most accurate break barrel?

Hw95 or Hw98 if you want to exclude underlever break barrels

Those two rifles will rival the Sig but the HW95 & HW98 don't have the same power.

Far better accuracy with the Weihrauchs. For power heck no. But that isn't this thread, right? I think they are in categorically different leagues. That being said, everyone that has an ASP20 loves them for power. I could see getting one. I haven't shot one yet so I can't pass judgement on the accuracy other than what others have told me and report cards. Great looking gun too.

No, but far better accuracy. For power heck no.

I wouldn't go as far as "far better accuracy" but the lower the power of a springer the greater potential for better accuracy. Hopefully, some Sig owners will chime in. VETTNUT has had very impressive groups at 50-75 yards. Pretty sure he's done sub zero inch @ 50 and some groups close to three-quarter inch.

Sorry about the edit mid quote. Yeah I would love some others to chime in. I see Hw95s in .177 being extremely accurate, far above what a ASP20 can manage. In compititions I don't see ASP20s even being used for break barrel events. If it was that great, I would expect to see people using it.

As I stated, all the official field events I see only allow rifles up to 20 ft lbs.

You could tune in down I'm guessing either in pneumatic pressure or spring (I think it is a gas ram correct). That would be a fun match. Two 12lb guns facing off. If the Sig wins I'll have to buy one

Don't think it can be tuned down. It's a hunting rifle.

Hey so have another rival. The HW80 is not only more powerful than the HW95 but I would wager much much more accurate than the ASP20 as well.
