Is there a bug in FX Radar app?

Hi.
My FX Pocket Chronograph v2 doesn't read nor register any shots. When I turned it on the chrony started reading some "high speed" over 1100 fts. shots without me even using a gun. I turned it off, then, back on and it doesn't read any shoots at all ever since. I've tried placing it in a different location on the barrel, but it didn't help.
I called UA and I was told that the issue is because of a bug in FX Radar app and that FX is aware of this and is working on a fix. They have no ETA on a fix release date. It seems odd because the app connects and recognize the device + V1 chrony that I also have works just fine. Maybe I'm wrong but, if that would be an app issue most likely all Pocket V2 devices won't work and I imagine it would be discussed throughout on this Forum. I couldn't find any threads with similar issue. The chrony is 2 months old and was working when I bought it. IS THERE A BUG IN FX RADAR APP THAT PREVENTS FX POCKET CHRONOGRAPH V2 FROM READING AND REGISTERING THE SHOTS?

Utah Air Guns told me a software update for the V2 was happening this weekend.
Nice, but did they mention what would change?
The only problems Ive ever heard about is its ability to pick up and record the small .177 pellets.
And most of those reports are resolved with simply moving the V2 to a different location.
So Im courious if U.A. mentioned exactly what changes the update will address?

I don't think that "there is a bug". I had a V2 that worked fine for the first few days, and after that it would only register very intermittently so it was totally unworkable (I did a writeup somewhere here on the forum about it). I returned it and got another. The new one is working FLAWLESSLY even after like 6 months.
If you wat till there is "a software update with NO ETA" you could be in for a looong period without a Chrony. And then IF the update comes out (if ever...) there is absolutely no guarantee that it will work fine then...

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app ? To me it sounds a bit like a BS answer and brush off when in reality the unit itself might be bad.
Yes, I have. I deleted old and downloaded a new app. It turns to be the same version I deleted before (v.2.7.123), However, the chrony started working (kind of). I've attached some pics with the shots string. Note that #3,4,5,6,7,8 these are not real shots, the reading was created by the chrony on its own. Definitely there is an issue either with the device or with this version of the app.
