Tuning is there a HUMA reg available stateside for the avenger yet ?

I would not expect Huma to make a direct replacement for the Avenger. Very specialized.

I was able to use one upstream of the oem reg on a Liberty. it was their "universal" reg made to fit the tube. Requires a drilled vent and no external adjustment. The dual airtubes on the Avenger may prevent that.

I've seen a number of threads about replacing the disk or facing the existing to reduce creep. That might be your best option.

Why not just blow off the first 3-5 shots before doing any serious shooting after sitting for a while that's what most people do with their temperamental regulated PCPs anyway.

You could also just store the gun right at the set regulator pressure point this way first shots always dead on. Just refill right before going shooting it's as simple as that.

If seriously considering adding a $130+ HUMA regulator you could have almost bought the Benjamin Cayden no plastic stock nor regulator needed to potentially fail or give any unannounced unwelcomed. problems at the least opportune moment and more or less a probable candidate for a relatively trouble free gun with 5 year Warranty and 25% off with free shipping direct from Crosman.

I would first and foremost buy the improved valve seal poppet if I were you if you plan on keeping and shooting that Avenger. It's the weakest point in the Gen1 Avenger and will eventually fail and likely quicker if the power is cranked up on which the gun simply won't stop leaking after that. You will know when that happens for sure.

Often that it isn't possible in a hunting or pest control scenario:

I bought a poppet from Pyramyd Air about a year ago for the Aspen as it's the same as in my Nova Liberty, not sure what other parts they stock. A phone call would be in order, their repair dept probably has what you want but it won't be listed on their web site. I assume they are fixing the Avengers in house. After the 2nd poppet failure on my Liberty, I had my valve machined and a new poppet made by Duy Dihn,
