Is there a portable compressor that fill "TANKS"?

Is there a portable air compress that fills tanks?
I researched these new portable compressors like the GX series last year and
they suggested it was to fill air guns directly or small air gun bottles.

Has there been any improvements to these portable compressors so can now fill TANKS?

Thanks in advance

I fill tanks with the GX, but it requires patience. I put the compressor on an on/off cycle. 1:20 on, 5:00 (5 mins) off. If it's summer time I also put an additional fan on the pump. This keeps the external temperature of the pump less than 50c at all times.

A big SCBA tank can easily take 4 hrs to fill this way. My smaller tank takes about an hour to fill this way, but can vary depending on exactly how low the initial pressure is. From empty it might take 1:30 to fill.

If you don't use the on/off cycle, your pump will overheat and die quite quickly. If you use the on/off cycle, you keep the pump cool and it will last a long time. My GX is over 2 years old now.

Gx does have several larger compressors now, the Gx cs4 is rated to fill large tank, this is a relatively new unit pricing was at $700us they have others up the dollar scale. The model 4 is water cooled internally as is the model 3 dif being the #4 goes to 5000psi and is a more robust unit.
Nuair, Coltri ,Bauer, Alkin these all start at around $3000us. Bauer I would rate as #1 Alkin #2

I highly recommend the GX CS4, I've had mine for just over a month and it's doing great! They are currently out of stock just about everywhere, but GX Pumps is supposed to have them in stock on the 10th of this month.

They will fill large tanks and have a run cycle of 5 hours, so no need to run for 20 minutes and then let it cool for 15 minutes, just hook it up and go. It can also fill air guns like the Huben K1 to 350 BAR. Definately a lot of features for the money!
