Same here, I have 2 coming this week. If they work as advertised, I'm going to order one for my Crown. Thanks Qball. I only ordered brass piston and will hope original washers hold 1st reg at 185. I just have to experiment I guess.

Me too. Unfortunately I think it might get a lot of use. I like shooting airguns, but honestly I hate working on them unless I'm going to get some big improvement as a reward.Yeah I bought the tool last week.
My maverick is the only pcp rifle I own and the thought of taking it all apart and reassembling it is way scary. I know it's gonna happen someday and after that I might be wondering what I was so afraid of. Sometimes I think I should just do that and get it over with so I do understand the parts.I have 20+ years of working on airguns and guns. I really enjoy working on them. Not that I look for something to break, but I really like understanding how they work, and working a problem.
This was me with my Maverick Sniper. The first time I had to disassemble the gun I was concerned. After it was done I was surprised at how easy it was.My maverick is the only pcp rifle I own and the thought of taking it all apart and reassembling it is way scary. Hi Chukar60. Thanks for the encouraging post. That definitely makes me feel better about the maverick and my not-so-great mechanical skills. This was me with my Maverick Sniper. The first time I had to disassemble the gun I was concerned. After it was done I was surprised at how easy it was.
Earnest Rowe has some FX Master Class videos on disassembly and assembly that were very helpful.
Hi DanH. I'm no expert, but I'd say it doesn't matter if you do one or the other or both.I have a question on changing to the brass piston. Do I need to do both regs or just the first or second reg? Thanks
We both bought the same 2 pistons and tool. I received them last week. I haven't installed them yet, but I intend to install the 1st reg piston ASAP. I haven't even removed the old regs yet. I think I'll make a pot of coffee and remove the 1st reg tonight just to see which bellville washers fx put on my maverick and measure the thickness of each of them. Then I'll think about how to proceed from there. I hope the 1st reg can hold at 190 bar without me having to order washers.Follow up. I ordered 2 of these. One for each of my Mavericks. It was so easy to install with the tool, I'm going to order 2 more. I think I may put one in. my Crown MKII as well. Here is a pic of what the old one looks like versus the new brass version. I spent $50 for the tool and $30 with shipping from FX for 2 of them.
