Is there a updated fx liner twist rate chart to include the 800 mm lengths?

Because one of my .22 800mm is 1:14 and the other is 1:18 is one designed for slugs or certain weights? 🤔

I have contacted Utah air guns many times and they keep telling me 1:16 twist is the only one ever made for the .22 caliber 800mm. Mine says 1:14 twist

They made the 1/14 800 when Javelan very first started making 22 cal 40 grn gen1, they sent me the barrel to test, not well btw! Then they went to 1/16 a couple years ago, way better! 30 grn up, likes them on the big side, like me👍🏼

Yes my 1/14 twist is not very accurate ! Should I be triwng to shoot 30 to 34 grain or heavier and longer like 36 to 40 grain ? They said they sent it to me tuned to shoot the 31.2 grain .218 nsa slugs.

It seems that way! The 1/16 sure handles 30-40 grn really well👍🏼 I sure won’t ever use that liner again and I don’t ever plan on getting rid of the 1/16 800! Just a great slug set up and lots of pop! Holds its own power wise to my 700mm Dynamic 👍🏼
Utah airguns saying they don't sell the 800mm liners. Any idea were to get one of the 800mm 1/16 twist ?

I think you have to get those outside of the US but many will not sell liners fx guns, barrels, and liners to the states even though they are available overseas as just liners.

Oh and my 1:14 shoots pretty spot on just as good if not better than the other liner.

What brand and grain slugs are you shooting with the 1/14 ? And what do you use for a moderator with that long 800mm barrel ? the harmonics are hard to tame.

Yes just a slug gun. I initially went to .25 because it is easier to push the same weight slug faster. Secondly the slugs available in .25 can have a higher bc. But realistically I am more acurate with the .22 as the heavier slugs like the 60 grain in the 800mm barrel spends too much time in the long barrel causing barrel whip and can cause accuracy issues if you don't hold the gun correctly. I've since shot the .25 50 gr altaros at lower speeds with better results. I also shoot the 40 gr .22 altaros at lower speeds with just as much if not more energy than say a javelin or NSA at higher speeds.

These were 40 gr altaros shot at 880-900 fps vs. the NSA that were shot at 10something. I've shot the altaros 22 setup to 400 plus yards with very good accuracy.

Ya I just saw a post by Ken Hicks at spaw shooting the M3 .25 caliber 60 grain altaros slugs pretty accurately. Can you get better accuracy with the .22 caliber 40 grain altaros or the .25 caliber 50 grain altaros ? I'm gonna try and stick with the 1/14 twist .22 caliber 800mm for now. If I still can't get it to work well by the end of the summer I'm gonna probably either try the 1/16 800mm .22 caliber or just go down to 700mm with the same 1/16 twist. I have so many .22 caliber slugs from 30 to 40 grains. All my .25 caliber slugs are mostly 32 - 34 grains.
