Is there not an easier way to be "approved" to post in the classifieds?

I've got a couple Umarex Hammers I'm wanting to sell, but I can't post in the classifieds.
I knew the 10 post/10 day rule, but I was dumb and didn't realize it's QUALITY posts, which mine are most definitely not.

I'm not into airguns at all and have nothing to contribute to any conversations on here, but this is about the only place I can list these since they're 50 caliber (so not allowed on eBay).

It seems like for people who are just looking to sell some extra stuff, there isn't really an avenue to be able to post in the classifieds on here

I view it as more of a confirmation. Confirming that you are here to participate and share rather than dine and dash.
Understandable, and I see the idea behind it. But in all honesty, I'm not here to participate - and there are plenty of other people who legitimately want to sell items but don't because of this rule - and that's my point. I have nothing to contribute here, and simply want to sell some airguns that someone here will want & use a lot more than I will. Frankly, half the replies in here just seem like they're posted by angsty nobodies that want to feel like they're part of a special club.

Maybe something that should be looked at is paid listings for people who aren't interested in posting in the forums. That way revenue can be generated, it will likely deter some scammers (and the ones that aren't detererred and are willing to pay to list the items are probably just as motivated to get to the 10 posts to be able to list), and a lot more items can be listed, leading to more traffic, more users, etc. I'm sure I'm not the first one to come along just trying to sell some equipment without having anything to post.
This looks to be the most widely use airgun forum, so it should make sense why I would want to post things for sale on here compared to some forum with 200 users.

That's probably questions for the forum ownership so I'm not going to comment on it.

You could tell a story about HOW you came to own not just 1 but 2(!) .50 caliber airguns. That will get you a lot more street cred than posting a
" . " in 10 different threads. You need to see it from the membership's point of view. An unknown dude shows up with 2 high end, high powered guns that he wants to dump and run away from. Really? Not suspicious at all ?
Hammers are not that high end.
Pretty mundane.

This right here is the reason I will never trade with people like the quoted. AGN is NOT a commerce sight nor is it a Craigs list for airgun stuff. It is a discussion forum. The classified section list at the bottom of the Forum list for a reason - it is an add-on feature that is to benefit the membership.

And that's your perogative, so that's perfectly fine.
What about other people though?

Plenty of people use forums primarily for buy/sell/trade, with discussion being on the back burner of their intentions for being a member.

I am grateful for the efforts this forum makes to keep me protected as much as possible from folks with ill intents.
Folks coming here for the sole purpose of unloading what they have is a huge red light for me.
Participation is the only way to build trust and credibility.
I have to wonder... would the OP come here on his first day and buy something from another guy selling on his first day as well?
If so, can I interest you in a bridge?

There are auction sites. You are welcome to deal with that. Frankly I am absolutely done with that BS. This is the best place to sell or buy airguns. The rules arent hard. You only really have to participate for 10days. If thats too hard then your sale is obviously not worth it.
