Is this clipping bad ?

Purchased this brand new for a L2 with the 250mm extender.

I was directed to buy the 25/30 model for my 25 L2.

What causes this ? Shooting hades jsb

id guess something isnt centered .. and yes any contact at all is about as serious as it gets .. you could probably pull the barrel and screw it all together and 'see' whats not centered by turning/feeling it out, with a light shone through the breech end ...

You called it. Is there an adjustment for this on the l2? Or is this a donnyFL issue ?

If you take Dizzums appropriate advice and you still can’t get rid of the clip, it’s definitely going to be something internal in the guns barrel system, how parts are connected, not Donny’s.
Now having said that, the clipping looks faint, as I’ve seen worse. Take two sizes in drill bits larger that the moderators exit hole and drill it out. That should fix the clip. This is a last case scenario, of course, as addressing the barrel system is the best course of action.

You never mentioned barrel droop- if you have that going on then for sure that’s the problem. There are makers of barrel clamps that help get rid of barrel droop

Turns out to be an adapter issue from Dfl. They took care of it immediately
