I shot my HW100BP-K today for the first time in two months and the accuracy was horrible. I'm talking 1" to 2" groups at 48 yards with it's favorite Polymag Shorts, JSB 8.44s, and CPUM 10.5s in that order. The 12.5g NSAs shot a bit better, but nothing like they usually do. I was shooting from a bench in my garage out to 48 yards with no wind. I figured maybe the barrel needed cleaning so I tried the straw trick, but couldn't get the pull through into the muzzle. I removed the moderator and out of curiosity I removed the "curlers" and found them very dirty. I DO NOT LUBE MY PELLETS, but I DO CLEAN them. As for the NSAs, I've only shot about 100 out of this gun. The barrel was last cleaned over the summer and maybe 200 pellets and the NSAs have gone down it since. Since purchasing the gun new, I've shot about 2,000 pellets and 100 slugs. Is it normal for the "LDC" to have so much dirt in it? I'm also posting a pic of the thread for the muzzle cap of the Weihrauch moderator, because I can't believe they would let it leave the factory like this. It looks as if it was cross threaded, removed, and then reinstalled correctly.
On a side note, I shot it in the garage without the mod and man was it loud! My ear is still ringing. That mod really does it's job!
