I'm finding out that shooting in wind is more unpredictable than my wife ... and she's Italian. No sense fighting it, just accept it for what it is and compensate the best you can.
Wind is somewhat predictable, it just takes a lot of time to learn how to read it. The wife on the other hand, just when you think you start to know them they'll change tactics
"Chains required" up here in Montana usually from early August thru late July. When they are gone it means it was pretty breezy that day. Build them yourself out of rebar and tire chains. Totally predictable with a little practice. Get your black powder friends to cast some depleted uranium pellets. They are heavier than lead and drift quite a bit less...
