RN, I've got a Athlon 8x34x56 on my wildcat 25. Really like it. Good reticle and ffp. Price is good on them. Went through Hawke, FX and Vortes to decide on the Athlon. I love these wildcats. Especially the 22. I also have the 25 wildcat and was going to sell it now my impact arrived but it's such a great gun I'm having a hard time putting it up for sale.have fun

Hello again RNMike...just replied to your post regarding you just ordered the Athlon 6-24x50mm FFP scope that I reviewed and have been raving about recently. I am so happy to find out here that you ordered it to go on your new Wildcat .25! That is the same gun that I have! Like you I also have the Huggett moderator and highly recommend them. I definitely also highly recommend the FX No Limits scope mounts.

I am also happy to hear you ordered yours from AOA...I like to tinker with my airguns and the guys at AOA have been invaluable with parts and advice. I am one of those guys that can't leave things the hell alone, and usually fix my airguns until they are completely broken. A couple weeks ago I tried to set my regulator up to a higher pressure and mucked up things to the point where I gave up and shipped my gun out to AOA to have Steve fix it for me...still waiting to find out how much my tinkering is going to cost me this time!

My advice on pellets for your .25 Wildcat is this...JSB 25.4 grain are very accurate but the wind will move them a little more than I like, so I shoot the JSB Heavy 33.95 grain exclusively in my gun. The JSB Heavy's buck the wind better than the lighter ones, and my rifle will put every shot in the same hole at 50 yards with them...and yours will too if you do your part. My best group so far was on Mother's Day morning ... 4 shot's into 1/2" at 100 yards bench rested at the range! That was on a flat calm morning under perfect conditions...normally i get groups in the 1" to 2" range at 100 yards. The Wildcat will do 3/4" groups at 75 yards all day long with my eyes closed! :)

Holly crap Chuck...great minds think alike! We have the same gun!!! I have to say, I wouldn't have even looked at the Athalon if it wasn't for your review, so thank you! My scope should be arriving tomorrow, so at least I'll have that to play with. AoA has my gun in stock as well as the Huggett, but the picatiny rail for the Atlas, and the Atlas itself won't be in until the first☹️. I'm having them put the rail on before they send it out. They'll of course install the Huggett too. I'm peeing my pants waiting!
I found the pic of the nurse on line. I have no idea who the artist is. I was just looking for a cool avatar (as you probably noted, I'm a flight/transport nurse & I specialize in pediatrics) and I googled "naughty nurse". I was thinking about getting it tattooed on my calf. 
Anyway friend, thanks for all of the advice...I may bend your ear from time to time if you don't mind. If you're ever down in SoCal I'll buy you a cold beer🍻

For the first 5 months that I had my wildcat I only shot the jsb 25.4 grain. They are excellent....but I found the Air arms 25 grain pellets slightly better believe it or not. I also shoot the jsb 33.95 mk2. Anyone with a .25 barrel owes it to themselves to try the Air arms Diablo Field 25 grain pellets. Happy shooting!

Of all my air guns, if I could only keep one it would be the wildcat. I've got the Impact now, but it just doesn't fit me like the wildcat. It seems to be a great gun, but just havn't warmed to it like the wildcat. I have the Athlon 8x34 on the 25 wildcat and I'm going to replace the Vortex 6x24 on the 22 wildcat with the Athlon. I'm using FX mounts.

I just installed a Hawke Sidewinder 8-32X56 with FX No Limits Mounts on mine (.25) today and shot it for the first time. 5 Shots to zero the scope at 25 yards then 5 shots at 1" dots at 50 yards 5 for 5 hits. Although I got it for a "Demo Gun" for others to try before they buy I would not get rid of it. It is a tack driver but it is a bit louder than my Cricket.
Turtles and Prairie Dogs are in deep trouble with the accuracy of this one.;)

Well I'm really glad I had AoA install a Huggett! UPS says it should be here Wednesday. I'm pissin' me self waiting! All I'll have to do is mount up the scope on the FX No Limits & game on! I know you've all seen a Wildcat a million times, but you haven't seen mine😆I will be posting some pics!
P.S. Do you all install your own scopes, or do you take it to a gun smith?

RNMike there are so many good guides on mounting a scope. Just google that? Simple steps are make sure the rifle is level and the scope is level to the rifle. And then slide the scope to set the eye relief distance that fits your method of holding the rifle? I like my rifles set up so that I can close my eyes and bring the rifle to my cheek and when I open my eyes the sight line and the relief distance are correct.
