Its here its here....EdGun Leshiy 2...but Houston we have an issue....Solved!!!

@Jwilson OKAY ... I DO NOT have that part! I only got the probe itself and not the Foster quick release fitting and the white thing. I will send this photo to Francisco so we have a clear picture of what I don’t have. I checked EVERYTHING and don’t have that part, I even looked under my sofa, and the only thing I discovered was I need to vacuum under there, no fittings just dust balls.

@coolhand thanks for the input and I kind of think that might be a possible issue. I did speak over the phone today with Francisco who I bought the gun from and with @edgun ‘s input too we think it is the fill probe might be an issue. Ed said fill probe I have is for the Hill pump not for a scuba tank, or at least that is how I took it and Francisco is sending me a new probe, which he sent today. Hopefully, this fixes the issue.

I will post an update after I get the new probe.

I was thinking about you saying that some air goes in the rifle and most not. That would lead me to believe that the cone head screw is too tight. I have a R3 that had to have the o-ring replaced as I was hand pumping and the first time I over tightened it and it would not even fill. I don’t know if this rifle has the same fill system.Hopefully you get some resolution, keep us updated.

Yes, I do get are INTO the rifle, but like I told Francisco verbatim, “filling the gun is like trying to fill a shot glass with a 20 L bucket, you can do it, but you are wasting a lot of water doing it.” In this case air not water.

I will wait for the new probe and go from there, and Ed thought it was a probe issue too. From what I can see Francisco is making this a priority so for now that makes me happy.

Other than wasting air getting air into the gun, the gun is working great.

Francisco says it doesn’t have to be aligned and isn’t meant to be. The hole port is off set on the probe to mitigate the pressure on the valve, increases the life of the valve, which makes sense.

On the Leshiy 2 string Ed of EdGun chimed in and said most likely it is the probe. I have tried everything. I wrote Francisco a text with photos, 5 number comments and we discussed it over the phone. I will report back once I get the new probe.

I have no idea...this is my first EdGun.

Edgun fans - Does Edgun use the same filling probe for all of their guns?

I've always had at least one Edgun in the safe for at least a decade and they all use the same fill probe (which is the same one that works with Taipans, Vulcans and others). When I had my Leshiy 2, I just used the same Edgun probe from my Leyla 2 / R5M and it worked fine. I didn't even bother to take the fill probe that came with the Leshiy 2 out of the ziploc bag it came in so I didn't see if it was any different than all the previous Edgun probes but also don't see any reason why Ed would change the fill probe after all these years.

First, sorry for my misunderstanding and I am still sort of new to the game.

I have done the following:

1) Yesterday removed the dowty seal between the foster fitting and the probe...still leak coming from INSIDE the fill port

2) Connected the probe directly tank supply line...still leak coming from INSIDE the fill port.

3) Tried repositioning / alignment of the fill probe within the fill port....still leak rush of air out.

Francisco is sending me this probe below and hopefully this fixes the issue and he says this is what you have, looks like the DonnyFL one.

Houston....the problem is solved. Today I received the new filling probe from Francisco of Edgun.shop (free of charge) and he included a quick connect, now I have 2 spares.

The filling issue is SOLVED!!! now to get the air tank filled to 280-300 bar, so I can get a full charge in the gun and actually see how many shots I can get out of the OEM configuration.

And yes, it is nice to now hear air rushing out as you are trying to fill it.
